Operation

The Operation object is of type PSObject and provides metadata information about an OData action or function exposed by an ERP service.

Syntax

$operation.Name

Following properties are available:

Type	Name	Description
string	Name	The name of the OData action or function.
string	Namespace	The namespace where the operation is located in.
bool	IsFunction	Indicates whether the operation is a function. If false, the operation is an action.
Type	BindingTarget	The type the operation is bound to. This can be an entity type, a complex type, or the corresponding CLR type for a primitive type.
TypeReference[]	Parameters	The parameter definitions accepted by the operation.
TypeReference	ReturnType	The return type definition of the operation, if one is defined.

Remarks

Operations are available through the Operations property of an ErpService object.

Use Invoke-ERPOperation to invoke an operation. Pass values for the parameters defined by the Parameters property through the cmdlet’s -Parameters hashtable.
