Activation and Trial limitations

Trial limitations

There is no difference in functionality between the trial version and the fully licensed product.
After the installation the product is available as a trial version for 30 days.

During the Trial period powerJobs Processor will place a License Job to the Job Queue when a powerJobs Job is executed,
in order to inform the users about the the expiration date of the product.

Licensing Options

Token Licensing

This licensing model charges based on the product usage per user and per day.
powerJobs Processors that use this licensing model can still execute Autodesk jobs without additional costs.
Only when executing powerJobs jobs Tokens will be consumed.
After the first powerJobs job is executed no additional Tokens will be consumed for the next 24 hours.
The amount of available Tokens can be found in the License Information Dialog.

No Tokens left or Internet problems

When the machine has no Internet or no more Tokens are available powerJobs Processor still provides a grace period for multiple days.

During and after the grace period, when executing powerJobs jobs, a job is placed in the Job Queue to notify the user about the overdraft. It is also logged and can be seen in the Trace Window.

When the period is over powerJobs Processor stops working and requires Internet connection and/or Tokens to be purchased. In that case the powerJobs Jobs will result in an error until the JobProcessor is restarted.

Stand Alone Licensing

This product supports the Stand-Alone licensing model which is charged based on the time the license is valid and the number of seats the license is valid for.
For further information see the detailed description of the Stand-Alone licensing model.
In the License Information Dialog the remaining days until the license expires can be found.

License expired

When the license expires, all powerJobs Jobs will fail with a license error and a license job will be added to the job queue to inform about the expired license.

Offline activation

The serial number of the license and the machinecode are required to generate an activation file.
The activation file for an offline activation can be generated and downloaded on the following site: powerJobsProcessor - Activation filegenerator
