Trial limitations
There is no difference in functionality between the trial version and the fully licensed product.
After the installation the product is available as a trial version for 30 days.
Activation
There are two types of license available for powerPLM (powerFLC):
powerFLC Client licences must be activated on workstations.
This licence type only allows the use of commandlets within Vault Client customisations.powerFLC Processor licenses are for the use on Job Processor environments.
They enable an unrestricted use of commandlets, e.g. also in Workflows jobs
The licence must be activated on every computer where one of the corresponding setups has been installed.
Follow these simple steps to activate powerPLM (powerFLC) on completely new computers, together with all other products included in your subscription:
After successful activation, all these products can be used on the computer until your licences expire.
Note
If an Internet connection is available, no further activation steps are necessary from now on:
neither after the annual licence renewal nor after unlocking additional products in your subscription.
As your subscription allows it, you can also activate additional Vault workstations - or other Job Processors - with your customer key.
Other methods of activation using a serial number
The classic way to activate powerPLM (powerFLC) is by using a serial number.
Use this activation method, for example, if there is no internet connection or if you want to activate an older powerPLM version (v22 - v24).

To register the serial number for this product, the powerFLC specific License Information dialog is required:
Open it via the Start Menu and navigate to “All Apps → coolOrange → License Manager” and search for “powerPLM”.
Then click on the “Trial” link (or on the already displayed serial number).
Alternatively, you can start it via the command line:
"C:\Program Files\coolOrange\Modules\powerFLC\License.exe" --Serialnumber="XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX" --StandAlone
Depending on whether you have an internet connection or not, you can register a signed licence file or the serial number:
Register the serial number of powerPLM (powerFLC) if an internet connection is available.
For an offline activation you need a signed license file.
You can download it from another device using this link: Offline Activation of powerFLC. Again you need the serial number of powerPLM (powerFLC), as well as the Machine Code which is displayed in the License Information dialog.Note
Please note that after the annual licence renewal this offline activation must be updated on every computer. Further information can be found here.
Are you having problems with the Activation?
To check on a workstation or on the Job Processor whether the products of your subscription are activated, you can open the Licence Manager via the Start Menu by navigating to “All Apps → coolOrange → License Manager”.
For further information about the powerPLM (powerFLC) license, open the License Information dialog to see the remaining days until the licence expires.
On worstations, the Vault user will see additional notifications about the coolOrange subscription that needs to be renewed, in the last 30 days before this licence expires.
License expired
If the powerPLM (powerFLC) licence expires, commandlets will throw a LicenseException when trying to connect to Fusion 360 Manage.
A Windows notification about the expired licence is displayed on workstations.
On the Job Processor, workflow jobs can no longer be executed by powerJobs Processor.
The jobs fail and the result displayed in the Job Queue contains an error message referring to the expired licence.
