# License Information

Detailed information about the product and the active license can be found in the License Information Dialog:\
To activate a product please see [License Activation](<license_activation>).

- Product Name and Version (Major and Minor)
- License Type (Trial, Tokens, StandAlone)
- Expiration Date or Remaining Tokens
- Serial Number
- Machine code (required for [Offline Activation](<license_activation:offline activation>))

Depending on the selected license type either the *expiration date* or the *remaining tokens* are shown:

- Trial: For a Time-based Trial the expiration date is shown.
- Tokens: The remaining Tokens are shown.
- Stand-Alone: The expiration date is shown.

## Starting the dialog

The License Information Dialog can be started using one of the following possibillities:

### License Information Shortcut

1. Open the Start Menu and navigate to "_All Apps_ → _coolOrange_"

2. Search for the product

3. Click on "*\[Product Name\]* License Information" shortcut

### Product Information Shortcut

1. Open the Start Menu and navigate to "_All Apps_ → _coolOrange_"

2. Search for the product

3. Click on "*\[Product Name\]* Information" shortcut

4. Click on the "Licensing Information" link

### License Information Application

1. Navigate to the directory documented on the product's *Activation and Trial limitations* page
2. Start the *License.exe* application
